Fact Is: Protecting Our Customers
Is Our Number One Priority

Here at FACTO, we have strict processes in place when it comes to reviewing whether or not a life or pension insurance contract should be accepted. This is our way of making sure that you always get the most out of the services we offer.

You can therefore always be sure that a repeal will make sense for you and there is nothing to stop you from working with FACTO.

Sometimes there will be risks or uncertainties surrounding the repeal of a life or pension insurance policy. Alongside legal and financial exclusion criteria, other factors relating to your life or pension insurance policy itself or the additional services selected by you may suggest that a repeal is not the way to go.

We let the facts speak for themselves
It is on this basis that we developed the FACTO review and exclusion process for the repeal of life and pension insurance contracts, which just so happens to be the most thorough one. Before we provide you with a valuation, we will ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire about your insurance policy. This will give us all of the key information that will prove crucial when it comes to processing your claim. The fact is: We will only return a positive valuation based on your chances of success with your repeal if there are no exclusion criteria at all.

This means, for example, that we will never process Riester or Rürup pension policies, as the rescission of contracts under these state-subsidized schemes can land you with considerable tax bills. It is therefore with you in mind that we categorically refuse to repeal these kinds of contracts.

Another such example is contracts in the early retirement phase. Many consumers rely on these supplementary pensions. Even though rescission of these contracts is possible in principle, we have made a conscious decision against this because calculations for compensation for use are incredibly complex and therefore not recognized by all courts. So this is another type of contract we refuse to repeal because we have your interests at heart.

We give you the information you need and put the decision in your hands
It is our mission to provide you with all the information you need and to explain everything to you clearly, so you are in a position to make the right decision. It is on this basis that we make sure that you know exactly what factors and risks might arise and help you to assess these before the contract is signed.

Let's look at an example. Imagine that your current life or pension insurance policy covers a personal risk, such as an inability to work or a serious illness. If you were to terminate that current contract, then, of course, this insurance cover would no longer be provided. It would then be highly likely that it would cost you a lot more to take out another policy covering those same risks now based your current age and state of health. In that case, we would advise against the termination and rescission of your current insurance policy.

Fact is: we don't go for the easy option
And that's how we like it. After all, the only way to make sure you get the most out of the services we offer is to provide you with all the information you need and to review your contract with a fine-toothed comb.

If you aren't sure whether a repeal is an option for you or whether the services we offer here at FACTO will be worthwhile for you, we would urge you to get a second opinion from your lawyer or accountant. If you have any general questions about our review process, please don't hesitate to get in touch with your dedicated contact at any time.
